“Their clothes are more appropriate for the weather there.”
“I think the kids from the USA have the same conditions that the kids in this country have, the same troubles, the same problems… I believe we are basically similar.”
“They’re the same, but not as good looking as the
paisas here.”

These are some of the comments given by a group of youth in the Bello Oriente region of Medellin, Colombia about what they think our kids are like in the Main South Speaks project.

For the next two months we are going to be swapping stories, photos, and videos about ourselves, each other, and our cultures.
